Claims about products
I want to take a moment to address a topic that comes up frequently. I have people come up to me and ask "What do you have that will cure/fix my _fill_in_the_blank_?" The answer I can give is I don't have a product to cure/fix your condition. Why? Because I am not a doctor and/or my products are not designed to cure things. Yes, I use certain essential oils that can help with things and I have been making and studying natural products for over 17 years now but I can't say these things because of rules and regulations designed to protect you the customer. The FDA is very clear about what you can and can't say about your products without going through the very long and costly process of actually having your products tested through them. But, you say, I was just at a booth down the lane and they said their products will cure my problem! Well good for them. Either they are not aware of the FDA and their rules for such claims and that makes me question their regard for their industry, or they don't care about the rules and that makes me question their regard for their customers. I do care about my customers and in doing so I will follow the rules that the FDA establish.
